About IAFS

"I Am From Singapore" is a wholly Singaporean blog that highlight and feature the many talented individuals from our little garden city.

Ngak is a veteran in the local music scene and has been actively involved in it over the past years. An accomplished song-writer, he has worked with celebrities like Emil Chau and Alan Kuo in the past. Being also an experienced performer, he has performed at Mosaic Music Festival and other music events. These days you can find him strumming away as a soloist or jamming with his band Timmy! at various venues across the island.

    I'm originally from South Africa and moved to Singapore in 2009 for 12 months. Currently I'm living in Sydney and came to visit Singapore over xmas. I just would like to say that you are THE best performer I have seen in Singapore and really enjoyed your band playing at Wala Wala last night. I absolutely love the open chords you play and the 12 string guitar is to die for. I'm also a song writer and love music.
